stayAPT Suites Opens NEW Apartment-Style Hotel in Montgomery, AL
The opening marks the Second Alabama location from the long-term lodging hotel brand
(MONTGOMERY, AL) — Montgomery visitors now have access to a better way to stay while away from home, thanks to a new apartment-style hotel brand, stayAPT Suites, which opens today. Located at 5000 Woodmere Blvd. in Montgomery, AL, stayAPT Suites’ all-suites hotel offers a new standard of comfort for guests seeking any length of stay. The 75-room hotel is the second Alabama location to open from the fast-growing U.S. hotel brand, which opened a Dothan location in June of this year, and will soon open a Huntsville location.
Ideal for business, relocation and leisure travelers, each stayAPT Suites guest room is a 500+ square-foot suite with a dedicated living area, full-size kitchen with full-size appliances, and a separate bedroom. Offering nightly, weekly and monthly rates, the brand gives travelers a residential-style hotel experience.
Situated conveniently adjacent to I-85 and Highway 231, the new hotel is a quick trip from Montgomery Regional Airport. It offers easy access to many of the area’s top business, medical, and academic attractions, including: Hyundai Motors, Jackson Hospital & Clinic, Baptist Medical Center South, Alabama State University, and Auburn University at Montgomery. The apartment-style hotel is less than a 15-minute drive to the vibrant downtown Montgomery area.
Each stayAPT Suites room includes an open-concept living room with a sleeper sofa, lounge chair, and a wall-mounted smart 55-inch television. The full-size kitchens feature full-size appliances, including a four-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. The private, separate bedroom, located down the hall from the living area, offers a king or two queen-sized beds, a walk-in closet, a spacious desk, and a second large, wall-mounted smart television. Outside of the suites, guests can enjoy other on-property amenities, including an outdoor courtyard with built-in grill station, onsite guest laundry facilities, and a fitness center.
“We are excited to continue growing the stayAPT Suites brand here in Alabama,” said stayAPT Suites President and CEO, Gary A. DeLapp. “Our apartment-style suites will provide its visitors with an all-around better hotel experience. We look forward to being a part of this great community as we continue to grow our presence throughout the state.”
More Alabama hotels are also under development from stayAPT Suites. In addition to the upcoming Huntsville opening, the brand has several future sites under development in the state, including in Auburn, Birmingham, Mobile, and Tuscaloosa. Montgomery marks the 13th stayAPT Suites hotel to open nationally from the brand. The Montgomery opening continues a year of fast-tracked development for the company, which has disrupted the long-term lodging segment with its signature layout and aggressive development schedule. stayAPT Suites will have 15+ hotels open by the end of 2022, with an additional 50+ under construction or in pre-development.
